Jasmine Beauty Therapy has proudly teamed up with The Essentials Project.
This Project is aimed at ensuring that people who are experiencing homelessness, domestic violence and/or affected by local emergencies are provided with basic necessities through the distribution of bags of essential items that many of us take for granted.
Everyone deserves to have the basic essentials.
The Essentials Project founder, Natalie, is a local Ballan woman with a young family, who saw a gap in the community donations bins in our local area.
She worked for a number of years with Share The Dignity, a charity that fights against period poverty distributing sanitary items to those in need.
This inspired her to create The Essentials Project, which aims to create helpful assistance for all ages and genders by creating bags filled with essential necessities of hygiene and toiletries products to people in need, distributing them through local organisations.
Natalie says “We seek to provide essentials for men, women, babies, children, and teenagers. Anyone who finds themselves in a vulnerable and disadvantaged position. Whether they are fleeing domestic violence, have found themselves homeless, or experiencing an individual or local emergency: house-fire/bushfire/flooding, etc. Our bags are for people who need these items immediately while waiting for or linking in with other services. We also work with other local charities to provide relief for these vulnerable groups.”
Jasmine Beauty Therapy is proudly accepting donations of new, unused items to The Essentials Project, such as, but not limited to:
